To continue with our series of workshops from last year, which focussed on the fundamentals of different groups
of asanas, Corinne wil run one master class each term.   We will continue to look at progression into poses,
alignment, support and variations and how to practice in a safe & effective way. These master classes 
are suitable for students at level 1 and up wishing to build their skill and deepen their practice and understanding.

Term 1: Saturday 1 April | Backbends

Term 2: Saturday 6 May | Arm Balances

Term 3: Saturday 16 September | Inversions: Shoulderstand FULL
Progression into the pose and its variations, we will also look at different options and supports for your practice.

Term 4: Saturday 11 November | Inversions: Headstand
Progression into the pose and its variations, we will also look at different options and supports for your practice.
You need to have a regular 1 year practice of shoulderstand for this workshop.

Eleen will facilitate a 90 minutes yin yoga practice exploring: 

  • Being still in each yin pose for 3-5 mins. Relaxing and surrendering to your weight to maximize the benefits of passive stretching.

A Journey into Ayurveda

Farida will take us on a journey of the rare and unique Ayurveda Aromatherapy oils. These oils are
therapeutic and have medicinal properties. They are highly anti microbial and also energetic. Learn
about the five basic elements, how to use the oils for yourself, your children and family. Farida will touch
on ayurvedic principles. diet & lifestyle. 


Led Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga

Awaken your spirit with these 5 led early morning sessions. Includes asanas, pranayama
& savasan. Open to all levels of practice.

Ashtanga yoga involves synchronising the breath with a series of set poses, starting with Sun Salutation followed by standing, seated, backbends and inverted poses.This is a complete practice which flows from one pose to another uninterrupted, this combined with conscious breathing encourages inward focus.
The internal heat created by the Ujjayi breath makes it easier for the body to move and stretch.
Movements and breath together increase blood circulation, has a cleansing effect and is deeply energising. It is an excellent cardio workout!



4-week Back Stretch/Chest Opener Course


If you want to deepen your practice and understanding of Backbends, if you need to stretch and open
you chest, back and shoulders, if you simply love backbends and want to practice more this course
is for you. We will focus on principles and alignment and progress to more complex stretches throught
the 4 sessions.




Shoulderstand Workshop


The Shoulderstand (Sarvangasana) is known as one of the most beneficial yogic pose, and is said to be the mother of all poses. However until you know how to do it and gain the confidence to practice, you will not derive the full benefit of this wonderful pose and may not enjoy it. 

This workshop is for everyone, we with look at correct alignment, how to set up and learn options for your own needs, how to protect your neck, counter-indications, benefits & alternatives.

Relax & Rejuvenate: Yin Yoga for managing stress

Eleen's teaching strength lies in her keen attention to body movement, alignment and muscle engagement

and the focus of a meditative mind and awareness of breath whilst practising.

Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with each posture being held for 3-5 minutes. It applies moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. It cultivates awareness of inner silence and self-care.  On the surface, the yin practice might appear uneventful. But if you are able to tune in, you will encounter some pretty fascinating events occurring on the layers beneath the skin.
We will explore the breathing technique that helps to calm the mind and tame the nervous system.
Using a tennis ball to assist in manipulating the muscles and surrounding deeper layers of tissues of the different part of the body which can be stubborn. Trying out a sequence of yin postures that offers nourishing qualities and therapeutic benefits to your overall health.
